Quickbase is bringing together the Salt Lake City community for a three-hour night of building, experimentation, and friendly competition. Learn how experts take an idea from prompt to working app, then put those skills to the test on your own build and compete for prizes. No coding is required.
Settle in for an inviting evening full of drinks, delicious eats, and competition. We’ll set the stage with a look at how AI is reshaping everyday work and a live build that shows how a plain-language idea becomes a working Pave app in minutes.

How It Works
The Challenge: We'll kick things off with a set of challenges drawn from the everyday problems that slow businesses down: tracking, approvals, and the processes still stuck in spreadsheets. Pick the one that speaks to you or bring a problem from your own work.
Go solo or partner with a teammate. Either way, the clock is ticking.
The Build: You'll have one hour to take your idea from first prompt to working app. Describe what you need in Pave, shape it, test it, and add the automations that make it run on its own. Pave coaches will be on the floor the entire time to sharpen your idea, unblock your build, and help you push past good to great.
Halfway through, we'll hit pause for a round of Prompt Golf, where you'll put your prompting skills to the test for a chance to win an instant prize.
The Showdown: Every builder gets 90 seconds for a live demo in front of the judges and the room. Show us the problem you tackled and how the app you built helps your team work smarter.
Judges will score each app on the problem it solves, functionality, automation, and the quality of the demo. Then the room casts its vote.
The Winners: The night closes with awards, prizes, and bragging rights.
