Build and share a working Quickbase app that solves a real business problem. Learn how to structure data, connect information with relationships, create forms and reports, build dashboards, and give the right people access to the app. 

By the end of this class, you will be able to:

Audience: Intermediate/Advanced Builders

Part 1 - Quickbase Solutions

As your Quickbase footprint grows, managing changes across multiple apps becomes more challenging. Learn how to use Solutions to organize related apps, manage environments, track versions, and safely move updates from development to production. 

By the end of this class, you will be able to: 

  • Create and configure a Solution 

  • Add and manage multiple apps to the Solution 

  • Add contributors and collaborate 

  • Navigate multiple environments 

  • Create and restore Solution versions 

  • Make changes in a development environment 

  • Promote changes through the deployment process 

  • Validate updates in target environments 

  • Follow deployment best practices to reduce risk 

During Camp Quickbase, you'll build a Solution, manage multiple environments, and safely deploy updates using the same process used to support growing Quickbase implementations. 

Six months from now, you'll be confidently managing Quickbase solutions across environments, delivering updates faster, reducing deployment risk, and enabling your organization to scale and evolve its apps with confidence. 

Part 2 - Turn Data into Documents: Document Templates & Beyond

Learn how to generate professional documents directly from Quickbase data. Create document templates, automate document generation, troubleshoot common issues, and choose the appropriate document-generation solution for your app. 

By the end of this class, you will be able to: 

  • Create a document template 

  • Insert Quickbase fields into a template 

  • Generate documents from existing Quickbase data 

  • Modify and maintain existing templates 

  • Troubleshoot common template issues 

  • Identify whether to use Document Templates or QB Docs 

During Camp Quickbase, you'll build and test document templates and generate documents from live data.
